It was an attempt to unify the community after efforts to create an index failed.

Harambe legends is a collection of 777 photographs taken by Jeff. These were minted as a Foundation collection.

Harambe Legends

The Harambe Collection is made up of 5 of the 7 original Harambe photograph NFTs minted on Foundation by his photographer (Jeff McCurry) at the Cincinnati Zoo. Jeff considers this initial set to be the most iconic and his best work with harambe.

The NFT collection was then fractionalized via Tessera in the form of 100B $HARAMBE tokens. 90% of the total supply is liquid and in the Uniswap LP. Path gave Jeff McCurry 5% of the Harambe supply so we may all share in the upside together.
